Yeah.this makes a lot of sense, being that I ordered Mixcraft 6 from SWEETWATER.COMĬrashing issues with 3rd party content, crashing whenever video is used,no phone support and just utter chaos when someone loses their registration code. Your information resides on the disc sleeve and only on the disc sleeve." Purchases onĪmazon and eBay and Musician's Friend are not in our sales database. "We do not have the sales records of other companies. Had I not lost my packaging, none of this would have been necessary.so I except the loss, but.I shouldn't be required to jump through hoops like this to get this issue resolved. I know I had sent a support ticket, but I can't find the ticket # and why should I have to send another support request anyway? Honestly though, with all of the trouble I had with Mixcraft 6.I am just too uncomfortable with the prospect of taking another chance with Mixcraft. It would be much less aggravating to just throw my Mixcraft 6 disc in the trash and pay the $90 for version 7 when it comes out. I don't know what my support ticket # is,I don't know where to retrieve it and some guy by the name of Phil had e-mailed me and I can't find that e-mail. You know what.I've had it.I lost count of how many times I've contacted Acoustica(via Facebook, the forum,e-mail and the support form) and I've gotten nowhere. Why? Because that will give you a ticket number that you can refer to in these kind of communications.Īnd if you already have a ticket number, let us know what it is. If our email reply isn't there, you should send in a support request ticket. The first thing you should do is check your spam folder to make sure that our reply hasn't been filed away somewhere by your email client. Interestingly and oddly enough.I had voiced my concerns about this on the KVRaudio forum and expressed my frustration over Mixcraft 6 and caught a lot grief over it from members there(because apparently.no one over there ever had any issues with Mixcraft 6) and I am utterly confounded over that, because I was so tormented over how much trouble I had with it and despite all of my efforts and communication with tech support,I never could resolve the issue and had to abandon Mixcraft to spare what little sanity I had left. The thing is,that since I have Reason 7,Studio One and the Cyberlink PowerDirector 12 to work with,I don't really need something like Mixcraft 7(but I really want it).because if it functions properly,it would be of considerable convenience to me,to have the ability to work with video and audio at the same time and thereby speeding up my workflow immensely. So.hopefully someone from Acoustica will be able to retrieve my registration ?I really don't want to miss out on the $30 upgrade deal(because I just can't take the risk of spending a full rice of $90 for version 7,only to have history repeat re-experiencing all of the horrific crashing issues I had with Mixcraft 6. The only info I had,was approximately when I had purchased the software, which was February of 2012.so the only thing I could think of to do,was to try and recall what my log in info is to this website and I managed to remember it. I don't know what e-mail I had used when I signed up(as I have several different accounts now,one of which is inactive) and it seems that locating my account is all hinged on my original e-mail. I had sent a support ticket message.but never received a response,so I contacted Acoustica via YouTube and I was told my account could not be found.as I apparently failed to provide sufficient info for my account to be located. However though.even though I still have the DVD rom disc,I unfortunately.don't have the packaging it came in.so I don't have the registration code. I have Mixcraft 6.so $30 for an upgrade to version 7,is very I have a new computer,I was curious to see how Mixcraft 6 would perform on it. Recently though,I randomly came across news of there being a new version in the works.so out of pure curiosity,I checked it out and was intrigued by the 64 bit upgrade and the built in bit bridging and I was hoping that this upcoming version will be more 3rd party VST friendly and have better video format compatibility. After having experienced a lot of grief over insurmountable stability issues with my Mixcraft 6 a couple of years ago,I have not used it since and had vowed never again.to touch it.
